Hey, the characters' don't need to cast shadows! there vampier's! Half dead things like ghost don't cast shadows. At least that's how it usually goes in stories involving vampires. But I haven't read through all your work yet. I'm not even sure this character is a vampire. So maybe I'm wrong if I’m my bad. But maybe you're just trying to do your own thing here. It's your drawing you do what you want but I think it's fine without shadows. But you can do both give people a chance to see which one they like better. Also I love the dog thing.
